DESCRIPTION:Morning Session\n\nThe legal requirements for Internal Audit for local councils.\nThe Practitioner’s Guide and ‘Proper Practices’.\nThe Annual Internal Audit Report of the AGAR\nThe Model Internal Audit Checklist\n\nAfternoon session\nWorkshop exercise – practical Internal Audit of a smaller parish council\nNote: Candidates will need to bring a fully charged laptop\nVenue: Judges Lodgings, Aylesbury\nCost: £75 \nLight lunch and refreshments will be served \nSuitability:\nYou need to be an experienced clerk, CiLCA or even FiLCA is not necessary, although FiLCA would be an advantage.
