DESCRIPTION:Events Risk Assessment Training \nAs a Parish or Town Council, it is essential to take responsibility for managing risks to safeguard your employees, assets, liabilities, and community from potential losses. A crucial aspect of risk management is conducting assessments and taking measures to mitigate potential areas of concern.\nThis session is designed to guide you through the purpose and process of risk assessments concerning local councils with practical examples and the additional requirements of Martyn’s Law and the potential actions that local (parish and town) councils might need to adopt if the law is passed.\nTraining Provider:\nBrian Brookes is the Risk Manager at CLEAR Insurance Management but was the Insurance Manager for Leicester City Council for over 11 years and more recently was the Head of Insurance at the University of Warwick. In his spare time he is a stand-up comedian and after dinner speaker. The highlight of his career (before today) was appearing on Opportunity Knocks in the 1970s.\nCLEAR currently arrange the insurances for over 2200 local and town councils throughout the country advising them on Insurance and risk management matters.\nBrian has just be appointed President of the Insurance Institute of Leicester for the second time.\nRunning time: 60 – 90 minutes approximately depending on Q&A\nRemote Access: Joining instructions will be issued closer to the time\nCancellation: A full refund will be given if 14 days or more notice prior to the date of the training course is given. However, this could cause an event to be cancelled if it becomes uneconomic to run.\nMembers £40 per ticket\nNon-members £80  per ticket\n \n
